Summary of the bill.
The bill proposes to recognize and support people who rescue and care for homeless, abandoned, mistreated or vulnerable domestic animals. It creates a voluntary municipal register and provides for training, material support, veterinary care and coordinated rescues. It also sets animal care requirements, municipal verification and funding arrangements, and amends Law 138 of 2020.
