Summary of the bill.
The bill would expand the National Authority for Transparency and Access to Information’s responsibilities for petitions and information access. Its remit would also cover open data, personal data protection, and corruption prevention. The bill redefines obligated entities, regulates the appointment and duties of their information officers, and establishes new grounds for sanctions and a procedure for imposing fines.
