Summary of the bill.
The bill would reorganize hospital management and establish a board of trustees attached to the Ministry of Health to administer the facilities and assets. The board would administer the Nicolás A. Solano Regional Hospital (Hospital Regional Nicolás A. Solano), and the bill defines its membership and powers, together with the appointment, duties and grounds for removal of the medical leadership. It also sets rules for meetings, decisions, expenditures and suspension during investigations.
