The bill proposes approving the agreement on mutual legal assistance in criminal matters between Panama and the French Republic. The agreement between the Government of the Republic of Panama (Gobierno de la República de Panamá) and the Government of the French Republic (Gobierno de la República Francesa) sets procedures for requests, evidence, assets and bank accounts, alongside safeguards for individuals and personal data. The approving law would take effect upon promulgation.
