Summary of the bill.
The bill amends Law 28 of 2014 to reorganize the commission responsible for rare, infrequent and orphan diseases and expand its duties. It proposes a national program and an advisory body to assess cases, treatments and newly identified diseases. It also provides for updates to the official disease list, preparation of a consolidated text and regulations implementing the amendments.
