Summary of the bill.
The bill would amend Article 241 of the Criminal Code to penalize withheld contributions and schemes that prevent mandatory Social Security enrollment. The amendment covers failure to remit employee and employer contributions to the Social Security Fund (Caja de Seguro Social), increases the penalty for anyone who orders contributions to be withheld, and provides that it will take effect six months after its promulgation.
