Summary of the bill.
The bill amends Law 42 of 2012 on child and family support and broadens the expenses covered by that obligation. It clarifies how support is set and establishes rules for payment, accounting and access to financial information. It also proposes enforcement measures, rules on legal representation and appeals, additional duties for support enforcement courts, and an amendment to the Judicial Code concerning contempt.
