Summary of the bill.
The bill proposes to amend Article 61 of Law 49 of 1984 to expand the functions of the Foreign Relations Committee. It would assign the committee the review of the professional profile and work plan of each ambassador or consul designated by the Executive Branch (Órgano Ejecutivo), followed by a reasoned, nonbinding opinion addressed to that branch.
