Summary of the bill.
The bill proposes to replace Law 230 of June 24, 2021, and establish the National AMBER Alert System for minors. The system coordinates information dissemination and the search for, location, and recovery of missing, abducted, disappeared, or unaccounted-for minors. It sets out the system’s organization, the conditions for activating and deactivating alerts, the means of disseminating them, and the responsibilities of participating institutions.
