Summary of the bill.
The bill proposes to regulate consular personnel’s share of revenue from commercial, maritime and notarial services. It sets maximum percentages and reporting duties and provides for the remaining revenue to be paid into the National Treasury. It places a time limit on the fee participation scheme, repeals several provisions and addresses certain positions in Merchant Marine consular offices.
