Summary of the bill.
The draft bill proposes adding to Decree Law 3 of 2008 a special regularization procedure for foreign nationals residing in Panama. The procedure applies to those with more than five years of continuous residence and limited resources. It also revises naturalization procedures, sets deadlines for several steps, and adds provisions for recognizing naturalization and granting Panamanian nationality without charge.
