Summary of the bill.
The draft bill proposes to recognize digital rights in relation to the use of artificial intelligence systems in the Republic of Panama. It establishes rights to information, explanation, human review, data correction, and nondiscriminatory access to services. It also provides for traceability requirements, prior assessments of public-sector systems, channels for complaints and judicial remedies, and measures in response to verified harm.
