The bill proposes to disclose how the dividends paid by the Panama Canal Authority (Autoridad del Canal de Panamá) to the National Treasury are used. It provides for a digital platform, audits and presentations to the National Assembly (Asamblea Nacional). It also sets rules for identifying and communicating works financed with those funds and adds material on the history and impact of the Panama Canal (Canal de Panamá) to secondary education.
