Summary of the bill.
The draft bill proposes measures for people affected by the events of June 20–30, 2025, in the province of Bocas del Toro. Those events followed the temporary suspension of constitutional guarantees. It establishes an evaluation commission, a special lifetime pension, rules for financial support to family members, social benefits and employment protection, funded by the National Treasury (Tesoro Nacional).
