Summary of the bill.
The bill proposes a framework for remote net metering and solar communities in the Republic of Panama (República de Panamá). It would allow electricity generated at a solar installation away from the place of consumption to be credited against an electricity bill, and credits from a shared plant to be allocated among its participants. It also sets registration, interconnection, metering, compensation and oversight rules.
