The draft bill proposes to prohibit the cult of personality surrounding politicians and businesspeople in the Republic of Panama. It restricts names, images and symbols in public works, offices and spaces, as well as the use of state resources for personal or political promotion. It also provides for citizen complaints, fines, a restriction on coins and banknotes, and the repeal of two laws.
