Summary of the bill.
The bill proposes a national education program on values, ethics, corruption prevention and environmental awareness in Panama. It also covers nondiscrimination and patriotism at every level of public and private schools in the Republic of Panama. It provides for these subjects to be incorporated into the curriculum, mandatory teacher training, and participation by public bodies, school communities, civil society organizations and the private sector. It also sets out implementation, evaluation and funding arrangements.
