Summary of the bill.
The bill creates the Paraísos del Istmo National Tourism and Heritage Development Program to identify and certify communities in Panama. The program also promotes communities with historical, cultural, natural and social value and establishes an official brand, a strategic plan, certification and evaluation requirements, funding sources and rules for using resources. It provides for public information, oversight and revocation of certification.
