Summary of the bill.
The bill proposes to designate June 3 of each year as National Cancer Survivors Day in Panama to raise awareness of survivors’ needs. It links the date to the needs of people who have undergone oncological treatment and to recognition of their possible physical effects. It also calls for those needs to be communicated to the public and to public and private institutions, particularly in relation to return to work and job stability.
