Summary of the bill.
The bill proposes educational continuity for children and adolescents who are hospitalized or receive outpatient treatment. It also covers those who must undergo extended medical rest. It establishes hospital schools and classrooms, home instruction and virtual support; arranges coordination with the student’s original school; and recognizes studies completed through these arrangements for continued enrollment and certification.
