Summary of the bill.
The draft bill proposes amendments to Law 68 of November 20, 2003 to extend information rights for patients and insured persons. It also proposes extending their confidentiality rights across health services and medical insurance and sets out rules for the custody, interoperability and consent based access of clinical records, together with an adjustment period for entities that handle that information.
