The draft bill proposes provincial judicial archives to hold and organize records from community peace justice houses. It sets out which documents would enter the archives, how they would be transferred and preserved, and the conditions for access or retrieval of originals. It assigns the Ministry of Government responsibilities for premises and staffing and provides that the law would take effect six months after its promulgation.
