Summary of the bill.
The bill proposes to introduce life imprisonment into the Criminal Code’s sentencing rules and amend the duration of imprisonment. It would amend the definition of imprisonment, revise the circumstances carrying a sentence of twenty to thirty years under Article 132, and add Article 132-C to prescribe life imprisonment for specified forms of homicide.
