Summary of the bill.
The bill proposes declaring the lower, middle and upper Cricamola River watershed a hydrological reserve within the national protected areas system. It assigns the Ministry of Environment (Ministerio de Ambiente) responsibility for adding the reserve to the National System of Protected Areas (Sistema Nacional de Áreas Protegidas), delimiting it and preparing its management plan. It creates a council for intercultural governance and sets rules on productive activities, tourism, funding, projects with adverse impacts and concessions.
