Summary of the bill.
The draft bill proposes to expand the framework governing the Special Notary Office attached to the Municipality of San Miguelito and amend Law 57 of 1976. It governs the appointment, qualifications and duties of the special notary public; defines notarial services and the scope of the notary’s authority; and establishes rules for the custody of notarial records, the collection and allocation of revenue, and exemptions for certain documents.
