The bill proposes adding a chapter on offenses against public emergency services to the Criminal Code. It would penalize interference with personnel responding to fires, other incidents and dangerous situations, as well as false alarms and false reports made to emergency services. It also directs the preparation of a consolidated text of the Criminal Code incorporating the proposed changes.
