The bill proposes a network of reference laboratories to verify the commercial quality of agricultural and animal products in the Republic of Panama. It would give producers the right to request an independent assessment when they dispute a buyer’s measurement and establish a binding technical determination for adjusting acceptance of the product, deductions, or commercial settlement.
