Summary of the bill.
Law 80 of 2012 would add provisions to promote active, ethnic, scientific and rural tourism through ecological roads. The bill provides for rehabilitating those roads in protected areas with human settlements. It would also require the Ministry of Environment to adapt its regulations to allow those works and road access, and would add a tourism promotion objective to Law 1 of 1994.
