Summary of the bill.
The bill would recognize cervical cancer as a disease of public interest in Panama and establish measures for its prevention and care. The measures cover early detection, treatment, rehabilitation and control. It provides for a Human Papillomavirus vaccination catch-up strategy, access to screening, continuity of care, patient navigation and follow-up, and a unified digital platform.
