Summary of the bill.
The bill would amend Law 44 of 2002 to reorganize watershed planning and management in the Republic of Panama. It proposes periodic assessments, land use and management plans, rules for bringing activities in each watershed into compliance, and revised membership and duties for Watershed Committees. It would also give the Ministry of Environment oversight authority.
