Summary of the bill.
The bill would declare the Tambor Peligreño Folklore Festival part of Panama’s intangible heritage and create a governing body. That body would organize the festival annually in Barrio Bolivar, in the district of David. The bill also provides for documenting and passing on the tradition, involving its tradition bearers, and supporting the festival through cultural, tourism and municipal coordination.
