Summary of the bill.
The draft bill prohibits illegal lottery sales and proposes administrative penalties for certain clandestine sales and games, including digital ones. It also adds to the Criminal Code an offense involving lotteries reserved for the State or authorized concessionaires, provides for cooperation between the National Charity Lottery (Lotería Nacional de Beneficencia) and the Public Prosecutor’s Office (Ministerio Público), and allocates fines to charitable purposes.
