Summary of the bill.
The draft bill proposes to disclose open data on current public concessions through the PanamáenConcesiones portal. It would add a requirement to Law 22 of 2006 to publish data on the identification and performance of those concessions. It specifies the minimum information, assigns the competent institutions responsibility for supplying it, and gives the Directorate General of Public Procurement (Dirección General de Contrataciones Públicas) two calendar years to develop the portal and regulate its use.
