Summary of the bill.
The draft bill proposes to amend Law 37 of June 29, 2009, to require municipal tax payments from private companies carrying out state-funded works. Those companies would pay the applicable municipal taxes, duties or fees. It also links each payment claim submitted to the contracting entity to a municipal clearance certificate and adds contractual obligations concerning construction permits and related local rules.
