The bill designates the Ruins of Bique, also known as the Ruins of San Vicente, in the district of Arraiján as a National Historic Monument. The site is in the corregimiento of Cerro Silvestre, Panamá Oeste province, and a board would administer, safeguard and conserve it under the technical oversight of the National Directorate of Cultural Heritage (Dirección Nacional de Patrimonio Cultural). It also establishes the board’s assets, organization, leadership, and rules for financing and protecting the monument.
