Summary of the bill.
The bill proposes amendments to the Electoral Code covering voting rights, the electoral roll, political parties, nominations, financing and vote counts. It also changes rules on the allocation of seats, electoral offenses and electoral justice, and introduces procedures for compulsory collection and electoral criminal proceedings. It directs the Electoral Tribunal to prepare and publish a consolidated Electoral Code.
