The bill proposes to amend Articles 8 and 22 of Law 26 of 1996 concerning public service regulation and service contracts. It keeps the listed public service companies within the regulator’s jurisdiction, allows users to establish their lawful presence on a property without producing a property title when contracting for service, and limits appeals to the Third Administrative Litigation Chamber according to the amount in dispute.
