Summary of the bill.
The bill would add three articles to Law No. 59 of November 28, 2005, on employment protection for people with disabling diseases. That law, as amended by Law 25 of April 19, 2018, covers chronic, involutive, or degenerative diseases that cause work disability. The articles set out the institutional placement and permanent status of the commission responsible for issuing physical and mental certifications, the minimum frequency of its meetings, and periodic reassessment of certified individuals.
