Summary of the bill.
The bill proposes a special enforcement jurisdiction to enforce the Audit Court’s (Tribunal de Cuentas) rulings on financial liability. It assigns the Comptroller General’s Office (Contraloría General de la República) responsibility for enforcing financial judgments of 25,000 balboas (B/.25,000.00) or more, leaves those below that amount with the Directorate General of Revenue (Dirección General de Ingresos), and changes the rules on referral, reporting, and collection.
