Summary of the bill.
The bill proposes to amend Article 325 of the Criminal Procedure Code (Código Procesal Penal) on searches of persons and vehicles. Members of the National Police (Policía Nacional) could conduct them without a judicial order. It sets the grounds for intervention, safeguards to be observed before and during a search, requirements for recording the action, and the consequences of failing to observe those safeguards.
