Summary of the bill.
The draft bill expands duties under Law 82 of 2013 concerning violence against women and mandatory education programs on managing emotions. It provides for studies of patterns of violence against women and coordination of programs on managing and controlling emotions at every level of education. It also changes a duty of the Judicial Branch so that judges must admit amicus curiae connected with the protection of women’s rights.
