Summary of the bill.
The bill would add to the Labor Code a right to disconnect from work related digital communications outside ordinary working hours and during rest periods. It sets duties for employers, protects workers who exercise the right against adverse measures, identifies circumstances in which work communications could occur, and applies the rules on overtime when services are performed outside ordinary working hours.
