Summary of the bill.
The bill proposes a career and salary scale for food science and technology professionals serving the State. It organizes the scale by academic qualifications, years of service and supervisory posts; sets requirements for placement at each level and for competitions for supervisory posts; expands the routes to professional recognition and licensure through amendments to Law 46 of June 24, 2015; and designates a national day for the profession.
